In order to cope with the ever-evolving demands of the globalized business world a steadily growing company like Gebr. Wielpütz GmbH & Co. KG is always on the lookout for talented and motivated new employees who help to shape the company's recent success story. Looking to the future training one's own skilled workers is not always the easiest but always the most conclusive way. Of course we also presented our company and the apprenticeships we offer at this year’s Trainee Fair in Hilden. Here, interested students can discuss various topics relating to education with more than 100 exhibitors: career choice, corporate culture, Dual university programmes opportunities in occupations such as journalist, industrial mechanic or chemist and much more. The event was a great success; many interested parties were informed about the daily tasks of an industrial mechanic, mechatronics specialist or warehouse logistics specialist at our stand. The focus was more on the industrial worker, with a total of four current apprentices reporting directly on their daily work routines and experience to date. We would like to thank them for their commitment.
Anyone who spends many years successfully manufacturing components for mobility, like Gebr. Wielpütz GmbH & Co. KG, has to keep in motion in other ways. For example: the 11th Miss Zöpfchen Run in Solingen in late summer 2017. Eleven fearless volunteers bravely pushed through the many kilometres and represented our traditional company with flying colours. By participating in such events, we also highlight the importance of promoting health among our employees.
As a constantly growing international company, we are always looking for new talented and motivated employees with innovative ideas. A forward-facing perspective is especially important, and so we prefer to provide training ourselves. It therefore goes without saying that we were one of the 115 presenters at the Trainee Fair in Hilden. Here more than 900 interested students from years 9, 10, 11 and 12 were able to make direct contact with various companies to discuss the various careers available through traineeships.
